I am selling my favorite AT115ED triplet refractor only because I plan to get a larger refractor since mirror based scopes are not suitable with all the year round turbulence I have to deal with living near the mountains in the desert part of Southern California. Great optical performance for it's size and mechanically great. Butter smooth focuser stops on a dime for sharp focus. I am the original owner for about 10 months ago and have original shipping box. In very good condition and some minor lens dust, including new vixen bar which I never used since I put one of my stock bars on. Comes with 2" AT dielectric diagonal ( no eyepiece). I compared this to a SVT110ED F7 (bino ready version) that had been tested at .97 strehl and in all my visual tests for 2 weeks this scope performed a tad better. Maybe due to being a triplet and extra 5mm but I used high power on a city street light a half mile away and got a tad better resolving dirt specs on the city light. Tad better resolving fine better detail on moon & Jupiter also. Not bad for a relatively portable scope. 1075.00 plus buyer pays my actual shipping costs. If you live in Southern California area, I'll sell for 1050.00 offer to drive out up to about 50 miles from where I live (Beaumont) to avoid shipping....etc. Note* box is 32" x 10" x 10" weighs 18 lbs with scope and ships from zip 92220 with 1000 insurance. The dielectric 2" diagonal ships in separate box and I will cover that cost.
