For sale is a very nice Meade 14 LX200GPS and Giant Field Tripod which has been supercharged by the esteemed Dr. C. Sherrod. It is in excellent condition but has a few minor signs of wear and tear that is from normal usage. Everything works as it should. Optically it is excellent condition. This scope was bought directly from Dr. C himself 1.5 years ago. I have owned it since and used it quite a bit. Really enjoyed it. I need to downsize. I can handle this beast by myself, but you should use caution and move slowly when doing so.
Comes with the power cord, Autostar II hand controller, UHTC coatings, 8x50mm finderscope and bracket, and a Baader Planetarium Amici 2" diagonal, ADM dovetail bar and PLUS comes with the JMI wheeled case. The JMI hard case allows you to move the scope single-highhandedly just like you use a wheelbarrow. The case provides superb protection. See pictures.
There is one very small issue. Somewhere I lost the 50 cent c-clip that holds the tripod spreader. I thought it would be a problem, but in fact, the tripod folds cleaner and tighter and is easier to transport without the spreader always dangling as you move the tripod.
Price: $3,950.00 - includes shipping within lower 48 states. Paypal fees not included.
