I have used this STT-8300 on several of my recent scopes, most recently on my RC12" and Stellarvue SVQ100, both of which I have recently sold. You can see some of the great work it has done by going to my images on Astrobin, just search for Jerry Macon.
The camera is substantially new, since last winter I had to have a new motherboard installed. I only used it for 3 months with the new motherboard.
