This is a black tube Celestron 8-inch SCT. I am second owner. It was purchased in early 1998. It has Starbright coatings, a black Celestron 6x30 finder with bracket, a losmandy dovetail plate with four holes drilled to mate it with the LXD dovetail, 1.25" visual back, telrad base, Celestron #94115-A Star diagonal, and front and back caps. Includes a Celestron hard dew shield and a three hole focusing mask. No EP's, but I have some cheap ones, if you need them.
The mount is the sturdy Meade EQ LXD-300, more sturdy than a CG5. It is on a good aluminum tripod and has a spirit level in the tripod head and an accesory shelf on the crossbars. Mount has RA and DEC slo motion controls and comes with the upgrades of a RA tracking motor with cigarette cord adapter and a battery pack for double A batteries and a polar alignment scope. Also includes 2 eight pound weights.
Everything is in great shape. In fact, the SCT has less mirror slop and holds collimation better than my other OTA, but I needed the Fastar compatible OTA to use with my ST-237.
I am asking $700. Have held on to this scope for several months as a "backup" to my other SCT, but I finally admitted I have too many toys and not enough cash flow.
P.S. I would also be willing to knock the price down or trade for equal value for any of the following: SCT Focal Reducers, SCT OIII/narrowband/broadband LPR filters, ST-237 color filter wheel, or Maxim DL/CCD.
