This fits 8" SCTs. It can be an elaborate dustcover, but its
purpose in life is pinpoint focusing. When the three separate
images converge as one, you're in pinpoint focus.
Kendrick sells a three-hole kwik focus for US $40 new, shipping
on top. This one is made by "What in the World Accu-Focus," a
company that is either defunct or not maintaining an internet site.
It's heavy black enameled metal in perfect condition,
probably because none of its owners have been photographers.
There are three small holes for the focusing exercise and one big
one to give access to the secondary's collimation screws. (Kendrick

Mine is cheaper and arguably better because of the fourth hole.
And, as mentioned, you can use this to protect the corrector plate
if for some reason your dustcover is out of commission. For the
record, I no longer own an 8" sct. I own a 9.25 and a 14, but not
an 8. So I'd be happy to send this to a good home.
