Hi there! I have moved up to a G11-style mount for imaging, so I no longer need this excellent fork. It was sold by Celestron in the late 90s as part of the Fastar 8 set-up (the original Fastar-compatible scope), designed for imaging. It is a heavy duty fork for an 8" Schmidt-Cassegrain; forks are similar to Ultima 8 forks (i.e. heavy duty!) and drive is the same as the C8 Deluxe. Has four tracking speeds, fast and slow slew speeds, a dec motor (with aluminum cover) and PEC (with upgraded chip - works well). It is also autoguider and DSC compatible.
Forks are several inches longer than the standard C8/C8 Deluxe forks, so this could potentially be adapted to slightly longer tubes with some ingenuity.
Comes with hand controller, cables, nice hardware to mount drive to wedge (not shown) and original manual.
