Named for an observatory in Slovakia's Tatra Mountains (I've been there, very, very pretty place), Antonin Becvar's Skalnate Pleso atlas was the Sky Atlas of the last (1950) epoch. This edition consists of 16 loose-leaf maps 12" x 18" and an introductory/index page. It charts stars to magnitude 7.75 and includes deep space objects, double and variable stars. Nicely drawn by hand in the olden days style!
These are in very usable condition. There is some kind of stain on the front page and on the corners of a few of the maps. Looks like tea. The map image shows it faintly in the corner. Does not effect readability.
