Arthur from Ontario wanted more room, easier access and less setup time so he replaced his dome with a 10X10' SkyShed. (See Photo)

The shed houses a 16" Meade SCT and a Televue Genesis APO along with an assortment of computer and astro photography accessories. In the winter Arthur will run the equipment remotely from his house a few feet away. Arthur opted for a residential style door and painted it red to make it easier to locate in the dark.

Arthur has also owned a much larger dome in the past which he built over a long period of time and at great expense. When we visited him last week Arthur told us, "My SkyShed is the best observatory I've ever owned". High praise indeed!

For more photos of SkyShed sizes and styles, see the latest additions on our website "Gallery" page.
