Ivory tube TV-101 in pristine condition. Including TV Starbeam finder, TV clamshell mounting ring, 2" Everbright diagonal and TV hardcase.
This package also includes (with price listed if bought retail):
Giro II Deluxe Mt., single arm (can be inexpensively modified for dual arm). Retail $299.
11 pound counterweight. Retail $35.
Adapter plate to easily mount the TV clamshell to the Giro arm with no modification necessary for the clamshell. Retail $79.
Kendrick full aperture solar filter. Retail $79.
Orion helical fine focusing insert. I remove the normal 1 1/4" adapter from the 2" diagonal and drop this in. It smoothly obtains perfect focus, like a "two speed" focuser, for tack sharp images at 300 power or more. Retail $45.
Light but stable Ash tripod. Retail $179.
Bogen padded tripod bag with shoulder strap. Holds the tripod and Giro Mount. Retail $70.

The above extras would retail for just under $900, making the package worth well over $3000. $2600 is a steal.

If you don't already have a nice EQ mount I offer the Orion Skyview Pro with polar axis scope, 7.5 lb counterweight, dual axis drives, and hinged 4" rings. This platform easily handles the 11 lb. TV-101 tube. It takes less than a minute to polar align and tracking is dead on. I didn't like the regid, short, stubby knobs that manually turn it in right ascension and declination, so I replaced them with 12" long, flexible knobs that are far more convenient. This whole package would retail for over $550, but you can have it for $375.

This clarifies my previous ad and reduces the price somewhat. I'll be out of town Friday and Saturday but will answer all inquiries Sunday. However you can call me at 724-518-0194.
