First: a Meade 4.7 Ultrawide. This is very clean/ clear eye piece with a very wide field of view. I like it better than a 4.8mm Nag I tried a while back for comfort and detail, even though it does not have the 20mm eye relief of a Radian (nor does the 4.8 Nag have huge eye relief). It also does not have the false color of a Radian (IMHO). See the Cloudy Nights review of 4.8 Nag versus 5mm University HD ortho. I would agree with this review.
This eyepiece is also much cleaner/ crisper than the Vixen Lanthanum that sell for about $105.
So given you are not going to get a long eye relief in this type of power with out other problems (Radian or Vixen), I would go with the better performer both in detail, color with an Apparent Field Width of 84 degrees!
Asking $125 for 4.7mm UWA Meade
Second: a nice Burgess 6mm Plossel that I recieved with a scope.
I think it is quite comfortable and a good performer on Planets when compared to a 6mm University HD ortho at 170x. Bill Burgess is well known for a good value for the money, and this is consistent with that perception.
Asking $37, or I will keep it as a "Guest" eye piece.
Thanks for looking
