EQ6 with Autoguide capability utilizing Vixen SkySensor 2000PC (ver. 2.09) as sold by ITE approximately 1 ½ years ago. Mount and SkySensor in very good condition. All original boxes, instructions and PC cable for SkySensor. Includes original counterweights (2) shown in picture. Stable mount, good tracking and extremely accurate GOTO with three-object alignment. Only controller I have owned that I could use planets to align and still had spot-on accuracy. SkySensor controller is very user friendly and uses 12 volt cigarette lighter plug. IMO mount handles refractor’s, SCT’s and MAK’s of 35-40lbs with careful balance. Newtonian’s and MAK Newt’s a bit less due to balance difficulty. Very comfortable with 30lb or less scopes with 4 deg/sec max. slew rate. I have never attempted CCD work with mount so I can’t comment on inherent PE. I can highly recommend for visual and webcam work. Home made Controller caddie that I attached to tripod leg and keeps it handy with heavy duty Velcro. Mount has been set at height shown since I received with only slight movement of legs for leveling. Tubes have indentations from tightening tripod leg levers and do not appear in pictures since they are inside larger upper tubes. Indentations only would be visible if extended beyond height of 56” to center of dovetail rail (included) and will not affect performance at any height. Some scratches on plugs covering worm gears from adjustments I made. Everything is adjusted and tightened to near perfection and has remained that way. I am only selling because I have moved up to a heavier scope(s) and mount. Original cost shipped to me was approx. $2,400. I will ship in CONUS for $1,650. Negotiable if local pickup or meet within reasonable driving distance. Interesting partial or whole trades welcome for discussion (scopes - refractors or SCT's, EP's, etc.). I’d be happy to discuss more about particulars if you drop me an Email.
