Want to use Losmandy D (G-11) dovetail bars with your Takahashi mount? This is the standard dovetail commonly used for SCTs, Astro-Physics, and Parallax rings. My saddles provide jaws that open wide enough for tip-in mounting. This makes handling large OTAs easier. The clamp jaws run on stainless steel guide pins, and stainless steel springs hold them open while you juggle that heavy OTA. All threads are stainless steel (interior and exterior) for strength and long life.

I have two saddles designed just for Takahashi mounts.

DoveEM: bolts directly onto the EM-200, EM-10, and other Takahashi mounts with a circular depression and two M8 bolts 35mm apart. This is the Takahashi standard for medium and smaller mounts.

DoveNJP: bolts directly onto the NJP and EM-500 mounts. No adaptor needed.

Stainless steel mounting screws are included with each saddle.

The saddles are anodized a pale green specifically formulated to go with Takahashi paint. The color is difficult to capture in digital photography, but goes well with the Takahashi mounts.

You may choose from several color knobs. The illustration shows green on the DoveEM (they appear lighter because of the reflective nature of anodized aluminum, and the angle of the lights). The DoveNJP is shown with clear anodized knobs.

See my web page for ordering and more information.
