TMB 80/600 in white Hans Winkelaar CNC tube and feathertouch focuser. This is the two-part tube which has a removable back section for binoviewing, fully flocked and baffled. Includes feathertouch 1.25" adapter, aluminum screw-on front cover, upgraded heavy-duty Tim Povlick tubering, and TV-85 case.

The scope was purchased from Markus in April of last year, but the objective is a literally brand new redesigned lens cell, pristine, and never touched (the original was just replaced by Markus because it pinched in freezing weather). The tube has three scratches (due to a problem, I had with the stock tubering) that I have covered with touch-up paint. These scratches are covered by the tubering in normal use. The paint also shows some slight wear where the back part of the tube connects with the maintube). Obviously these are cosmetic issues with the external tube and have no impact on the performance of the pristine glass and mechanics.

The Tim Povlick ring is fantastic and will mate directly with any TV mount and also has a 1/4-20 central mounting point in addition to the TV spacing. You can (and I did) mount a Starbeam directly to the top of the tubering.

Performance of this scope is fantastic (see the cloudynights review) and the test report that came with the new objective indicates a calculated Strehl of .975 (RMS .025). I had a chance to do a quick viewing once the cell came back and everything looks great.

I'm reluctantly parting with the scope because I just bought a SV/TMB 105 and the focal length and apperture size are just too close to own both of these excellent scopes.

I've $2450 invested but am now offering the scope for $1625.
