An old, but excellent wide field high contrast Brandon 48-mm eyepiece. It has been used inside an observatory with my 228-mm APO refractor and yields excellent wide field views. However, it is seldom used because most time is devoted to CCD imaging or to moderately high magnification visual observations. It works very well with barlow lenses that accept two inch eyepieces such as the old Vernonscope Dakin Barlow or the more modern Nagler 4X.
The eyepiece is in fine condition and comes with appropriate caps.
