Original owner of a Vixen made Celestron Model SP-C102F 4" APO Refractor with the legendary Vixen Super Polaris Equitorial mount on its original adjustable height wood tripod. Used sparingly, both are like new.

This is a hard to find and highly sought after Celestron (Vixen made) 102mm f/8.8 Flint/Fluorite Apochromatic Black Tube Refractor from the late eighties and early nineties. Astronomy magazine (June 1990) rated this scope top performer over Astro-Physics Starfire, TeleVues Genesis and Vernon Scope. The Super Polaris Mount needs no introduction (see "Cloudy Nights Telescope Reviews").

Optical Tube Assembly comes with:

o Star Diagonal 90 degrees
o Dew Shield and Cover
o 6 x 30 Finder
o Celestron 26mm Plossi 1-1/4" EP
o JMI Moto-Focus
o All Caps and Covers
o Original Owners Manual
(Covers OTA and SP Mount)

Super Polaris Equitorial Mount comes with:

o Illuminated Polar Alignment Finder Scope
o Original Adjustable height Wood Tripod
o Accessory Tray
o JMI R.A. Drive
o Built-in Level
o Engraved Setting Circles
o Slow Motion Controls with Handles
o Locks in Right Ascension and Declination
o Azimuth and Elevation Controls

Optical Tube Assembly and Super Polaris Mount are in excellent cosmetic and working condition. I will sell both, as described, for $2500 plus shipping. Both components belong together and I would prefer to sell them that way. However, consideration will be given to selling each seperately, if appropriate.
