I have an original 8" LX200 that I bought from a Discovery Channel Store display that sat in the store window for almost 10 years. The scope is essentially new with great optics but has the original 1-star allignment, 747 object data base. Tracking is good IF I get the scope level, pointed true north and all the input right. I have been spoiled by a friend's 2-star scope. I would like to upgrade my electronics and hand paddle to a 2-star version (I do not care which one) or sell the whole setup (including tripod, AC/DC power adaptors, etc.) and buy a newer version.
Advice and offers appreaciated,
