For Sale: Meade 16" Dob Starfinder Without Optics: Make Me an Offer

I purchased a Meade 16" Dob Starfinder for the optics, which I am putting into a custom Dob design. I am putting the rest of the scope up for sale. This would be perfect for anyone who would like to set up their scope at two locations and only have to drag the mirror around instead of the whole thing. What I am offering is the tube (still in its original box and bag), the bottom mirror board (but not the mirror cell), and the Dob base (never assembled, still in its shipping container as I received it). I am keeping the primary mirror in its cell, the secondary mirror on its mount, the finder scope, and the eyepiece. I also need the focuser right now, but I will probably make that available at a later date too if you want it (at no extra charge). Best offer takes it, I can ship to you by UPS or you can pick it up if you live nearby (I am on Long Island). Feel free to call with any questions.

PLEASE NOTE: My mirror is f4.4, with a focal length of 70.8 inches. The center of the focuser hole is 6.0 inches below the top edge of the tube. If your mirror has a substantially different focal length you may have problems bringing it to focus in my tube. Be sure to check the position of your focuser and/or the focal length of your mirror (it is marked on the back).
