Sale Pending

Virgo Astronomics OMNI Mount in very good condition.

Do not confuse this with the $189.00 unit sold in the Orion catalog. That is a nice unit, but this is much nicer with a longer counter shaft weight, and most importantly, a fourth degree of movement which allows you to set this up to the SIDE of a lawn chair (chaise lounge)and view in a very comfortable reclined position. Just dont fall asleep!

Also included is an optional counter weight which simply dangles from the center of your tripod to provide addional steadiness. It makes a difference, but not a huge one, so sometimes I used it and some times not. Also included ar 2 storage bags (felt) and instructions, which say it is good for binos up to 80 mm or 5 pounds.

I used this with Fujinon 10x70 binos and liked it a lot. Then I bought a 80 mm short tube which has replaced bino viewing since I can get a wide FOV with a 2" eyepiece, and zoom in with other eye pieces if I want.

The mount is in excellent condition due to it's light use. There are some chips in the paint on the counter weight and on the mount itself where it attaches to the 1/4" x 20 bolt on your tripod. I think the picture shows this. Also a chip where the bino's attach to the T bracket. Otherwise in a 9+/10 condition.

Email any questions to me and I will try and get back to you asap.

Keep lookin' up!
