I decided to post this scope one more time at my "rock bottom" price. After the ad expires or I remove, it will no longer be available and I will be keeping as my primary planetary scope. Check my feedback.
The original ad and updated reduced price:
This is one fine Japanese achromat and still looks like new. It has the best focuser I have ever seen on any scope (super smooth and tight). Has new 2" anodized aluminum focus knobs (classy) from "Focus Knobs" and Carton double-hinged rings as well as the original finder.
There is minimal false color due to the longer focal length and I would dare say it's undetectable when a minus violet is used. Optics are outstanding as they are on all of the older Japanese refractors. See Ed Ting's review of this very scope on his Scopeviews website, "Telescope Reviews, page 11".
This scope normally would be under the "keeper" catagory for me, but tight finances dictate otherwise.
FINAL PRICE REDUCTION: $575 SHIPPED IN THE CONUS.
