***********SALE PENDING*************

John Davis of Gemini Instruments is finishing up my custom GEM on a 6" portable pier. I ordered this mount in July and it is nearing completion. I have sold the refractor that was to go on this mount and purchased a larger Zambuto dob, so I no longer have anything to put on this fine instrument. Here is some info:

Capacity - 50 lbs
1.25" shafts
One tapered roller bearing and one radial ball bearing per shaft
4.5" gears
Full Autostar goto installed

It comes with the following:

2 x Stainless Steel 18# counterweights
6" Heavy Duty Pier (24") with pier extension (32")
Motor housings
Anodizing (choice of color)
Setting Circles
Accessory tray for pier
2 x custom dovetails and saddle
Polar finder bracket
Astro Physics illuminated Polar Finder
Autostar 497 w/ 4 DS motors
Custom Aluminum Star knobs

This mount is beautiful. It breaks my heart to let it go. But the Starmaster is calling.

Please contact me and I will direct you to my web site that has a lot more information. There is currently a 1 year wait for these mounts, so you will be getting a nice Xmas present.

Total cost for the mount is $1,520 + shipping. This is exactly what I have invested in the GI-1, not a dime more. You will not find a mount with the GI-1's capabilities at anywhere near this price.

Thanks for looking,
