If you want to speed up the process of critical polar alignment down to minutes, this is the way to go. For "older" SCT fork mounts. I had mine on my Ultima 8. It should fit just about any non-computerized, ribbed forks. Think C-8, 2080's, the LX family; Celestars, etc. There is a chip on the reticle, on the periphery of the image, so it does not in any way affect the alignment process. But my selling price reflects that flaw. All lines and star placement markers are perfectly visible. The LED works great, too.
