My 20" RC has arrived, so it is time to find a new home for the C14. This is a very sharp instrument, one of the best Mike Rice and I have ever used.

The key advantages of this C14 are:

* Superb optics, very sharp. We have imaged with this scope at 0.7 arcseconds per pixel with excellent results.

* Has been upgraded with the Bisque locking collar - the mirror simply does not move. Tracks like a refractor, with minimal flexure or shift. A cutout in the tube provides easy access to the mirror lock, so you can engage/disengage it as needed. The cutouts on this particular scope are smaller than usual, which makes the scope more rigid. These smaller cutouts are now being used on all C14s that have the locking collar.

* Has very little focus shift, even when the mirror lock is disengaged.

* I will also include a Mueller and Losmandy dovetail. The Mueller on the mount side totally controls flexure, and is the best mounting method I've found after testing everything available for the C14. The Losmandy is reasonably stiff, and when placed on the top of the scope provides a secure mount for a guidescope or a widefield imaging scope.

My cost on these items is around $5000. I am offering this setup at $3,650. However, I'd like to sell it sooner rather than later, and I will entertain reasonable offers. Shipping is not included; it will vary quite a bit depending on where you are located. I have the original case and will use it for shipping. The scope is located in New Mexico; I might be able to meet you halfway if you are in that part of the country. I may also make a trip through AZ, CA, and OR, and could drop the scope off in a few weeks if I do.

I can supply additional C14 images, or images of the scope, on request.
