I have the following items:
** SOLD ** 1) 1.52" elliptical flat on a collimatable mount on a stalk for a 10" ID tube ($38.50 shipped in CONUS)
*AVAILABLE* 2) 10" tube from a Celestron Starhopper (FREE - Local pickup in Salt Lake City only)
I believe the secondary mirror to have a very good figure based on planetary observations with it using a premium primary mirror. There is a small smudge on one edge that I'll let you clean off. It is center spotted to help with perfect collimation. I am obsessive about knowing the quality of my optics, so I purchased a new secondary that included an interferogram report, but this may be every bit as good--I was impressed with the detail on Saturn. Drill one hole in your tube and you're in business.
The tube is black and is from a Celestron Starhopper I overhauled recently, replacing the tube, among other things. It has miscellaneous holes and some scrapes, including a 2" focuser cutout, but it works and is black on the inside, and says "Celestron" on it. If no one wants it, I'll toss it in the trash. I figure it would save some newbie ATM the time and trouble finishing a tube and painting the inside of it, plus it looks cool if you're into having things with brand names on them.
