These elegant hardwood tripod legs are approximately the same dimensions as the flimsy aluminum legs that came standard with the Synta/Celestron mounts, but are far nicer, more solid and will have better damping. They are NIB, with 3 brass chains linked to a center ring, however your existing Synta spreader and tray can easily be adapted by simply removing and replacing using the existing screws.
They are fixed height at 48" long, and the two rails that make up each leg are braced with wood blocks at top and bottom. The wood components are 1"x3/4" and spaced 1.25" apart where they would clamp to the 3 ears of your existing tripod/mount base with existing screws. I believe these were made for the Meade 3" F 11 Brass refractor. They appear to be Ash.
$89 shipped in CONUS, PayPal encouraged, less than 1/4 that of a TeleVue/Vixen set. 2 sets only, 1 NIB, 1 lightly used, no photo.
