Looking to sell my FS-78(and finder w/ bracket) as well as my Meade 8 inch Sch. Cass or trade for a Tak FS 102 and finder. I have the case for the FS-78 which is included as well as a padded case for the meade. The set comes with a telrad as the bases are attached to the scopes. The FS-78 comes with the Parralax rings you can mount to a Losmandy mounting plate. The Meade also has a losmandy dovetail plate which I will include. I had the Meade from an LX-50 and removed it from the fork arms when I bought my GM8. It was professionally serviced and removed by the late great Roger Tuthill a year before his passing. The only blemish is on the tube where it was removed from the fork mount(he said it was unavoidable). Since then I added Bobs Knobs for easier collimation. I just entered the ccd revolution and my wife said if I want a bigger scope I have to get rid of these two. (hey, I gotta live with her...) So I am looking to sell the entire package for $1,600 or trade for a used TAK 102 in exc. condition with a finder. I am in NJ and prefer to do transaction close by but will ship if necessary. Purchaser has to pay for shipping but I have discounted rates as an attorney with a ups account in my firm.
