Serial # CV-DP-6237-BB. This Questar is in emaculate condition. It is from December 1975 and has been housed in Arizona within a humidity controlled room for its entire life until I brought it here a couple months ago. The coatings are fine, the purple tube is dent free.

The telescope has a cervit-low expansion mirror and broad band coatings. I am also including a leather case in excellent condition with maroon velvet interior, an off-axis solar filter (couple scratches), power cord, table tripod, purple dewshield, and brand new star map dew shield. I will also inlcude your choice of 2 Brandon Questar eyepieces, 8/12/16/24/or32mm.

As an added bonus, You will also receive all the original purchase orders and receipts for the telescope, handwrttien letters from Questar dated 1976, and other memorabilia. Also included are two small purple instruction booklets from 1973, Questar Instrument Accesory catalogues from 1975, 1976, 1980, and present, and two large Questar red catalogues from 1972 and 1979.

There is more fun stuff!! Fold Out Posters!!
A National Geographic "Map of the Heavens" from December 1957 in mint condition. This is a full size poster that has been folded, but that is it. Looks unused. I also have Feb. 1969 and August 1970 if you need those, but I would prefer to keep these. June 1983 "Journey into Universe" from National Geographic. The "Solar System" from July 1981, but....

The best, although not most valuable, is "The Red Planet, Mars" from February, 1973.

Finally, there is a book titlted "A New Popular Star Atlas" from 1974, first published 1949.

Looking for about $2500 shipped, but I will take the best offer.

Pictures available, just ask : - )
