The telescope is a Meade 4504 4.5'' EQ reflector with goto and a starfinder controller. The 'scope won't come with any 20mm eyepiece (it got lost) but will come with the standard 0.965'' 12.5mm and 4mm eyepieces and a 3x barlow. Furthermore, the telescope's mirror has lots of micro scratches from cleaning it a while ago only visible with a flashlight (got some bad advice online), but it still works well... Some collimating of the optic will be required for optimal performance.

As for the mount, I've taken the RA gear off and cleaned it, as there was a lot of metal pieces left over from machining still jammed in-between the cogs of the gear. I've been able to get some good tracking with the mount, though. Very surprising for how cheap it is... it can do about 30 seconds unguided with a lightweight load (I was using a 102mm short tube refractor, ~5 lbs) without star trails on about 50% of the images. This would also be an excellent lightweight mount for taking wide field shots with a camera if you could make a camera-mounting adaptor for it. The goto on the mount has not been thoroughly tested, however I do not see any reason why it would not work and be accurate.

As for the physical condition of the mount, there are some scratches on the counterweight shaft and the knob that used to block the counterweight from sliding off the shaft when it is attached to the mount has been removed (i.e. cut off with a saw). Also, there is a small crack in one of the motor mountings that I fixed with epoxy, but so far it’s been holding up pretty well.

In any case, I'd be willing to sell it all for $90 OBO + $38 USPS Ground shipping (parcel post, or UPS if applicable) with insurance from Anchorage, AK 99515 to anywhere in the CONUS.

If you want anymore details, don't hesitate to ask.
