Make your dreams come true and buy yourself an observatory and home in the desert Southwest and enjoy the best skies in the US! I have a home that is 2347 sq.ft. and is less than 2 years old. The house and observatory are located on a one acre lot about 10 miles SW of Tucson,AZ and is only 25 miles from Kitt Peak National Observatory (visible from the house).

The house is a beautiful 2-story stucco home with a very open floor plan and has 3 bedrooms, 1 loft/office, 2.5 baths, 2 living areas, 2 eating areas, a beautiful in-ground swimming pool, a huge patio and balcony (each several hundred sq.ft), an oversized 2-car garage, tile roofing, ceramic tile walkways, wood floor in kitchen, numerous other upgrades, and of course a high-end roll-off roof observatory. Mountain views in all directions.

The observatory consists of two rooms totaling 200 sq.ft. One room is the control room which is finished (insulation, drywall, painted, etc) and has A/C. The control room has network cables running back to the house, and has cables running to the concrete pier. The second room is the observing room which has a concrete pier which is isolated from the concrete floor. The design is unique (as far as I know) with the roof rolling into the control room. An industrial grade garage door opener is used to open the roof (opener included). The external is stucco matching house.

I spent alot of time educating my neighbors about light pollution and most of them keep their outside lights off. The skies are excellent in all directions except east (Tucson) and even then only up to about 30 degrees is washed out. The summer Milky Way is just incredible!

I have a website set up that contains lots more info about the house, observatory, and location. It also contains LOTS of pictures. I can't post the website address here on Astromart so email me and I'll gladly provide it to you.

Make your dreams come true! You deserve it!!!

Asking price only $230,000.
