This is a great 35mm SLR. It features eye-controlled focus point selection and depth of field preview. It is fast focusing and excellent at metering even difficult lighting. It has a buit-in pop up flash with red eye reduction and a infrared focusing grid for low light focusing. It has high speed flash sync with Canon speedlites. It even has the quartz date back so you can imprint the date on every picture, if you go for that sort of thing.

The lens was my favorite lens for years. It is a 50mm Macro and can focus down to a 1:1 ratio. Makes for impressive shots. I used it with my D30 for over a year, but it no longer works with digital SLR's. No D30, D60, or any other. I don't know why, but it doesn't. It just quit. It still works fine with the Elan IIe, but I have no idea what is up with it so I am including the lens as a freebie with the camera.

The remote release cable works great for astrophotos but is obviously home made.

The battery is dead. My last session killed it. That is part of the reason I stopped using it for astrophotos. It has mirror lock up and bulb mode, but it tends to kill the $10 battery after three or four all-nighters, and I am to cheap to keep spending it. I thought about making a dc-adapter, but never got around to it.

A great camera that happens to do astrophotos and macro work. I am asking $150 shipped anywhere in the contiguous USA. I prefer paypal but will also take postal money orders.
