We bought this 2001 32' McKenzie Medallion fifth-wheel to use for astro-related excusions - star parties, remote observing, etc. I am buying a second home which I will use as my observatory, so the fifth wheel is no longer needed.

This is a really fine trailer - oak cabintry, super insulation, central heating, microwave/convection oven, 1000-watt solar charger, over 400 amp-hours of batteries, oversized storage for even the largest equipment (I've taken my Paramount ME and several scopes plus tables and other equipment, plus all of our personal gear, without ever getting close to maxing it out.) - the list goes on forever. <g> I will also throw in a 1000-watt sine-wave inverter for clean power for your astro equipment.

If you want luxurious digs while you are out observing, this is your ticket. The NADA blue book on the trailer puts the value at just under $35,000. I will sell to first offer of $32,000, or make me a reasonable offer. This is a 2001 model, which sold new in the mid-40's. Currently, new 2003 Medallions are priced in the mid 50's, so this unit gets you into a luxurious setup at a good price.

If interested, our 2001 Ford Super Duty Diesel with Dually rear tires is also for sale. It has very low mileage (25k) and is the full-leather Lariat version. Available for $34,000 or best offer, will make a deal if both are purchased together.

I have additional photos, which you can request by email. The trailer is currently in Seattle, but can be delivered pretty much anywhere in the western US.
