Very fine condition brass Renaissance presents essentially perfect star test, amazing views of Jupiter. The color correction is much better than an achromat of the same F#, due to the compound Petzval flat-field design, 28" short. Has the Halley's Comet commemorative brass plate, but hey, all of them did for several years! Tube ring, 2" diagonal and 1.25" adapter both with all-brass hardware included. BTW, all the manuals are signed by Al; it's jokingly said the unsigned are worth more. Includes the red-velvet-lined, foam-fitted case also in excellent condition.
Matching Panoramic mount (brass fittings) and oak tripod and tray. Note: the teflon azimuth bearing has been professionally replaced by a precison-machined metal-bearing making the mount equal in stiffness to the Gibralter. Not looking to separate unless the OTA goes first.
Trade all of the above towards equally excellent FS128 Takahashi OTA and tube ring, or other interesting possibility. Sell for 1475 OTA, 375 for the improved Panoramic. No photo, CONUS.
