It's the GEM Table. These have to be one of the HOTTEST new products on the market. Soon to be profiled in Astronomy and Sky and Telescope!

If you use a pier mount such as the AP600/900/1200, the ATS Piers, Losmandy G11/G8, CI700, CGE, or any fixed pier of the above demensions then you have to get one of these. The GEM Table is designed to go on ANY 6", 8", or 10" diameter pier. The 6", 8" or 10" refer to the diameter of the pier and has nothing to to do with the actual size of the table. For example: A G11 takes the 6" table, an AP900 takes the 8" table and the AP1200 takes the 10". All table work areas are identical at 18" Wide x 13" Deep. They are very good size. It's unique slotted tension knob design allows you to place it anywhere you want. You can rotate on the pier for placement where you see fit. It will hold up to 7 EP's, a laptop, batteries, STV or other CCD equimpment, flashlights, charts, or books. Every one of the components is machined from a SOLID piece of aluminum (except 6 screws)! Nothing is die cast or cheaply anodized. I hand assemble and check everyone of them. I chose the higer priced Dupont powder coat finishes as it is more durable, looks better, and last longer and shows scratches less. They are the highest grade 3/8" aircraft grade aluminum (not the cheaper 1/4") and all stainless steel components. These have been a huge success!

When asked what he thought about the quality of his table vs. the cost this is how one owner responded:

" I worked im aerospace manufacturing for 30 years and I know quality when I see it. The GEM Table is as good as it gets. Is it worth the bucks? you bet! You pay for this kind of quality."
