Fully operational Cave Optical Co. Astrola equitorial mount, 2.5" shafts, (no pedestle) and dual-axis drives in excellent condition, 110 VAC - designed for Cave 16" reflector OTA and OTA's weighing up to 150 lbs.,
with illuminated (rheostat controlled) 10" aluminum setting circles, directional hand control, rotating ring cage for 16" OTA and two (2) 75lb counterweights. Mount fits on 8" ID pipe and mounting cap is included.
Absolutely no visible wear on gears and no rust. Drive motors, RA and dec shafts operate smoothly and quietly. Rotating rings turn easily, smoothly and tension is adjustable.

Equitorial mount - $2,500 (includes counterweights and pier mounting cap, please see ad # 186066 under Telescope Making)

16" Rotating ring cage - $700 (please see ad # 18603 under Telescope Making)

Both for $3,000 OBO
