I have an Orion ST120; 120mm F/5 refractor. I purchased this last year from someone in Pennsylvania who was not a very detail oriented person. Because of that fact, the unit has no caps whatsoever and the original nuts for the rings had to be replaced with 5mm pieces from the hardware store; additionally, there is a little scuffing of the coatings on the front objective. The scuff is in the shape of a narrow ring that circumnavigates the entire objective; one edge of the scuff can be seen in the attached photo.
Regardless of the scuff, the scope gives very nice wide-field views; I an not able to discern any anamoloies in the views due to the coating flaw. This is a great grab and go scope. I have cleaned and adjusted the focuser, a standard 2" type for Chinese achromats, and it is very smooth.
Unit comes with:
6x30 Finder w/dovetail bracket
2" R&P Focuser w/1-1/4 adapter
25mm Celestron Silvertop plossel
$185.00 shipped and insured in the lower 48.
Thanks for looking
