A new universal high tech telescope from INTES. The MK66 is a Mak in same optical quality as the well known MK67, but with a newly styled moving primary focusing system without any kind of mirror shift. Even at 1000* magnification under critical laboratory star testing not shifting detectable. A flat plate behind cell of primary, bearing fixed on one side, bearing fixed in combination with the micro metric focusing knob on the other side and with a multi layer inside thread on the primary cell. The top secret of any focusing mechanism for no shifting of primary mirrors, is to make the focusing from on axis. The MK66 have a thread on dew cap with 1 knife edged baffle on the front to protect the corrector plate from street light and dew. The focusing works very smoothly. The telescope ends with an 2" thread (MEADE/Celestron) for using any available equipment without additional adapters. Image quality, performance and photographic use is same as in MK67. The MK66 can be used with any available reducer corrector from INTES and INTES Micro, F/ratio with reducer 0.75* = F/9, with reducer 0.55* = F/6.6, with reducer 0.33* = F/4 and CCD/Video reducer 0.25* = F/3.
