An early mount similar to those used on newer TV refractors. The
nameplates are marked "Tele Vue Pearl River, NY". I bought this at
the TV table a few years ago at the Northeast Astronomy Forum.
A piece of TeleVue history. Fork is constructed of 3/8" aluminum
on the horizontal piece, 1/4" aluminum on the verticals. Inside
fork spacing is 5". The tripod head is heavy brass with two teflon
washers and a friction adjustment knob. Has 3/8" holes for tripod
legs. Weighs about 3 pounds. Solidly built, good condition.
