This bracket mounts two cameras or scopes side-by-side. The bolts are standard 1/4-20 threaded as is the threaded hole for mounting to the tripod. The maximum spacing is 9-1/2" on centers and the minimum spacing is 4" on centers. There is a rubber gasket covering the top of the bracket. There is also a wheel/knob for attaching the bracket to the tripod so you don't have to spin the whole bracket around. This bracket is VERY heavy duty. It is 11-1/2" long, cast metal, and the hardware appears to be stainless steel. This is a top quality product in very good condition.
Looking at the pictures below, The round silver knobs will tightly secure your scopes to the bracket while still allowing the scopes to move side to side and to aim each one in the horizontal plane to get them exactly where you want them. Then you turn the three-pronged black knobs just above the silver ones to tighten the scopes to the bracket itself. This secures the scopes tightly to the bracket so they cannot move. So this system allows the scopes to be completely secured to the bracket while allowing adjustments, and a separate knob will then tighten the already secured scopes in the desired positions. It really is a great system.
