I have what was once the mount and part of the truss tube assembly for a 22" f/5 Newtonian. The telescope was not built properly by the builder (not me) and after much legal wrangling and the builder declaring bankruptcy to get out of paying the court ordered judgement, I have to get this thing out of my garage. There is a steel pier, a GEM with 6.1" shafts that would probably hold a telescope with a smaller moment arm than the 22" f/5 Newtonian, a Byers 18" 564 tooth RA gear, the bottom portion with mirror cell of the OTA, truss rods, A JMI DX2 focuser, various assorted pieces and such. There is no primary mirror or secondary mirror/spider. This thing is VERY heavy, there is no way I'm even going to attempt to ship it. Someone out there want a project? Make some sort of offer but you have to move it. I'm in Southern AZ.
Thanks (and yes this is a true but sad story), Mike
