Intersting old (circa 1965?) 3" refractor. Sold through Lafayette Electronics, also under such names as Mayflower, Selsi, Swift, etc.
76mm, 900mm fl, unique helical/drawtube ("steering wheel") focuser. 40mm long focus finder, diagonal prisms for each, Herschel wedge, array of .965 Huygens EPs, sun projection screen, wooden case in decent shape for its age.
The nice thing is that the focuser has a 36.4mm thread and can be fitted easily with a 1.25" EP holder or other thread-in accesories.
There's a ~1" dent in the tube (from an old "refractor bash" often seen in older 'scopes,) that does not affect performance. The paint is fairly good for its age, and lense seems to be clear and clean.
Nice 'grab-and-go' 'scope that will fit easily in a cartrunk, is 'WAY cheaper than a Pronto, and is carried well on a SVD or similar EQ.
