I have a Tamron 300mm f/2.8 ED lens. The lens is in fairly poor cosmetic condition (I was not the original owner), but I can guarantee the glass and coatings are beautiful, and the mechanisms (focuser, aperture, etc) function perfectly. The lens is an 'adaptall II' mount which will allow it to be mounted on any 35mm camera body with the purchase of the proper adapter (about 20-30 bucks if memory serves me correctly). I will include adapters for a pentax K and I think an olympus mount (not sure which one it is, I only ever used the pentax mount) The lens has a tripod mount that allows the entire lens to be rotated to any position to compose the shot (a VERY nice feature). It has a rear filter holder (43mm size). Also included are a 1.4x and 2x teleconverters specifically designed for this lens. Additionally, I'll send along a celstron flexible dew shield which will fit the lens. I don't have a photo of the lens (i'll try to take one tomorrow), but the photo below was a full frame taken with it wide open an f/2.8 (which goes away at slower f/ratios). This specimen is a very great astrophoto lens. Star images are super at f/2.8, with only a little smidgen of false color on very bright stars. I have many other photos taken with it I can send as well. I do not want to sell the lens outright right now, but may consider a reasonable offer. I REALLY want to work out a deal on a small refractor (My lens package + some cash depending on the scope). Preferably a Tak FS-78, Televue 76, or a Borg 76 ED. I will also consider Any other refractor with decent color correction and a focal length between 450mm and 700mm. email or call me, we'll talk.
