If not, this may help:
A Royce 8" F/8 mirror is the heart of this great little scope which was assembled by the original owner to provide high level planetary performance:
-Gloss white powder-coated aluminum tube, lined with Protostar Flocked Paper (no dents or dings)
-8" f/8 R.F. Royce primary with one year old Beral Coating
-1.52" Protostar Quartz secondary
-Protostar 3-Vane Spider ( I compared the images of Jupiter and Saturn to my old Coast Instrument 8" w/ a four vane spider and the difference-less noticible diffraction- is quite obvious)
-University Optics Open Aluminum mirror cell into which the mirror has been mounted with silicone
-Dual readout digital thermometer that tracks the outside temp. and temp. of the mirror, letting you know when the primary has reached thermal equilibrium. This feature actually drives me nuts.
-JMI RCF 2" focuser with Motofocus & hand controller (batteries included!)
-Telerad Mount (may include Telerad as well!)
$750 (plus shipping costs) takes the tube assembly (a brand new 8" f/8 Royce mirror is $695 alone!).
