These oldies are in good to very good shape, all covers are intact and some have my library seal in them. Sorry I've lost too many valuable books without the seal.

1896 - Lessons in Astronomy including Uranograph, a brief introductory course without matematics
by C. A.Young
Features plenty of outstanding plates and diagrams. This book also has several hand writen dedications as a gift in the covers to the original owner.

1898 - The Earth and Sky by Holden
Appletons home reading books series, simple examples of basic astronomy as it was understood at the time. My library seal is on this one.

1899 - Popular Astronomy by J.D. Steele
features many plates and drawings. On page 61 a breath taking drawing of a sun spot done in 1873.

1920 - A Trip to the Moon by Louise Brown
A childrens story to teach youngsters facts about the moon. Short Paperback book.

Early 1920s? - Practical Astronomy with the unaided eye by H. Macpherson. Short and sweet basics

1926 - Starlight by Harlow Shapley
Explaining basic astronomy, and touching on the popular theories of the day. Including the "two branch Theory. He ends with his own feelings on Mans place in the Universe. My Library label is in this one also.

1936 - Field Book of the Skies by Olcott and Putnam
Cover is taped on from excessive use.
