I previously listed this scope for $80.00 shipped. Apparently that was too high because it didn't sell. I know that someone must have a use for this even if might be nothing more than to decorate the home or office. So, I've reduced the price to $60.00 shipped! Please help me with my effort to unclutter my home.

This is a Celestron 60mm refractor on an equatorial mount. The model number of the tube is, C-60E. I believe it has a 900mm focal length. The tube is made to support .965 eyepieces. The tripod is made from hard wood and is sturdy. It has an accessory tray that adds to the stability. The equatorial head has setting circles and slow motion controls. The finder scope is just worthless. Adding an inexpensive, quality finder scope would make this scope enjoyable to use. Also included in the sale is a .965, fully coated, 25mm Kellner eyepiece.

I have used this scope in the past as a guide scope for astrophotography but seldom use it anymore. I'm hoping someone in Astromart land has a use for it. I think if you use a right angle eyepiece holder that accepts 1.25" eyepieces and replace the cheap finder it will be a useful telescope - great for quick glimpses when you don't want to bring out the big scope.

I'm asking $50.00 plus $10.00 for packaging and shipping with in the continental U.S.

Thanks for your interest and please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
