This was Canon's first pro-caliber autofocus camera, the EOS-620. It
has a couple of unique features that may endear it to the
astro-photographer; it has a back-lit LCD display which allows you
to see all pertinent camera settings in the dark without risking your
night vision or fumbling with a red light, a metal lens ring, mirror
box and film plane which obviates any misalignment when suspending
the camera from the lens ring only and it has the optional accessory
grip GR20 which allows hard wiring of a remote shutter release.
Camera also has a fast autofocus, manual metering, aperture and
shutter priority, Intelligent Program AE with shift, and Flash A-TTL
and TTL, OTF with dedicated flash. Metering system includes 6 zone
evaluative and 6.5% partial with LCD metering display. EOS 620 also
includes exposure compensation, auto bracketing, AE lock in partial
meter mode, shutter speed range 30 sec to 1/4000 plus B, flash sync
at 1/250, self timer. Auto DX ISO range is 5-5000 with manual
override (manual ISO range 6-6400). Auto film advance up to 3fps and
rewind, multi-exposure capability, interchangeable focusing screens,
interchangeable body grips. A great camera with pro features.
I have had this as a back-up body for years, it is nearly mint and
has seen almost no use. It has just sat in the closet because I
normally use an EOS 10s which is more suited to my wildlife
photography. I was thinking to set it up as a wildlife "trap" camera
but probably never will get around to it.
$175 plus actual USPS Priority Mail postage, I'll pay for the
insurance. Payment via US Postal Money Order only please. Could also
