I have lowered this price. I really must sell this scope. I just took this scope to Fremont Peak. It really has refractor - like images. Very similar to my FS152, but brighter. Biggest difference is that it's an F12, so no wide field views.
Intes Micro Alter 1008 Delux 10" Maksutov Cassigrain - F12. Astro-Sital 10" primary mirror, BAK7 miscus, fully knife edged baffled tube, built-in G11 dovetail bar. Builtin cool-down system. Fan in rear, filtered inlets in front. No focus shift and no mirror flop. On my Paramount, I was getting 18 arc second RMS pointing acquaracy. Views of Saturn and Jupiter rival my Tak FS152 (6" APO) on bad nights and are 3 times brighter on good nights. This is an extemely good scope, built like a tank. I simply have too many right now and must pare down. It sells for $6000.00 new and you may wait more than a year to get one. This one took two years to get. It is about 1 year old. Comes with Atro-sital 2" diagonal, russian finder, University Optics finder (7x50), Telrad, Kendrick heater strips for everything and kendrick controller, and camera mount. The OTA weighs about 45 pounds. I have a fully baffled dew shield that screws onto the front. Buyer can pick up or pay shipping. I would recomend Fedex. This is a really a good scope, if I didn't have an FS152, I would not be selling it. The wife won't let me have too high end scopes, so somebody wins.
