Okay, well maybe you're not a cheapskate afterall. Astrophotography
is not a cheap hobby. I used to stupidly think the word 'hobby' meant
'free' when I was a kid collecting comic books. Then, I looked up one
starry night and was attracted to the magnificence of the universe -
little knowing of the black hole hidden there just to swallow up my
pocketbook. So with this in mind, I'm proud to announce to SAC7 and
7B owners that we've finally found an economical way to get you
focused with a Series III 'Stiletto' without falling into the
whole hole.

Series III 'Stiletto' Modular Mounts for the SAC7 and 7B are available
separately for only $99. (And if you take our short online survey, we
knock 10% off of that!)

Each of these Series III modular mounts can be used standalone for
prime focus or projection capturing. Plus, they will accomodate the
use of the newer focal reducers that screw into the SAC nosepiece.
The focusing technique is identical for all of our models: 1) Insert
the Series III modular mount and focus; 2) take it out and put your
camera in its place. All of this can be done in 30 seconds or less if
you don't get distracted. (I do keep putting my thumb in that SAC
cooling fan by mistake though.)

The best news is that you can upgrade to a full-blown Series III
model anytime by simply ordering a separate Series III body assembly.
Your mount will screw into it seamlessly. Since our approach is
completely modular, you can expand as quickly as you like or your
pocketbook allows. And if you do upgrade later to a different camera?
You'll find an appropriate Series III modular mount available for it
too whether it's 35mm, CCD, Medium Format, or a newer SAC.

Visit our website today for all the technoinfo, or write me with any
questions you may have. And don't worry too much about that black
hole. We put a cork in it...

Clear Skies!
