Thanks for all who replied, I have sold the item. Thanks!
I have a high-performance peltier cooling element I purchased from TE Tech about a year ago for a QuickCam Astrocamera project I eventually lost interest in. This unit is potted to prevent condensation from forming inside the unit and deteriorating the performance of the unit and shortening lifespan. This unit is about 2.5 - 3" square, and has 6" wires to attach to your power supply. This unit gets extremely cold with a small amount of power applied, and so it would be perfect for cooling your cookbook CCD cam or modified QC. Cooling is very important in lessening noise in CCD cameras. You could even use this to overclock a PC if you so desire. I paid $30 for this new, and it was never used. Yours for $15 shipped in the CONUS, or offer something in trade. I can send pics if you want, but if you've seen one peltier you pretty much have seen them all.
