The Losmandy GM-100 EQ is a computer generated all machined mount from aluminum and stainless steel components. This is the GM 100 which comes with High Precision Gears to provide a excellent platform for CCD photography. The base has a dual locking Losmandy Dovetail for extra stability. The electronics have been upgraded from the supplied JMI to the new Losmandy Digital Controls that allow for CCD guiding. Losmandy geared encoders precision made for this mount have been installed. No belts or ugly add-ons. Included with the mount is two 10lb thread-on and/or bolt release counter weights. Losmandy pier with two sets of legs. One set is cut short with leg levelers for Newtonian style scopes. The second set is adjustable up to 60 inches in height with pier extension. 12 inch pier extension and polar alignment scope is also included. This mount and pier should fit the needs of almost every type of scope available. Pictured is the mount extended to 46 inches with a Takahashi FS152.
