This is a nicely made device to interface your mount's optical encoders to a PC's serial port without spending big bucks on a Sky Commander or NGC Sky Vector. You can download Dave's Windows freeware that shows your scope's pointing coordinates in a window, or you can use it to point the cursor in compatible planetarium programs like Earth Centered Universe and others that accommodate the Ouranos or Micro Guider interfaces. Do a web search on "Dave Ek DSC" to find his site and detailed info.
I use it with my laptop running both ECU (free trial version download) and Dave's software, interfacing my Losmandy G11, and it's accurate and easy to use. Big WOW factor. The device has RJ-11 jacks for the encoders.
I'll include a 12VDC lighter plug cable and instructions for use with ECU.
$75 including USPS Priority Mail to the lower 48. I prefer Paypal.
