OK -- everyone knows what the cheap little 20 mm plastic "Huygenian" eyepieces that come with the SprawlMart department store telescopes are like.
This one, in contrast, is a true H-M design, made in Japan by Vixen. It features a large meniscus filed lens and a plano-convex eye lens, both fully coated, and mounted in a chromed brass barrel. This is the nicest Huygenian eyepiece that you will probably ever see. I once owned a little Huygenian ocular of the same fl by Zeiss, and this one is every bit as good.
(Please note that while this is an exceptionally nice ocular, it is designed for use with long f/raito telescopes such as the popular 700 to 900 mm 2.4" refractors, or 3" f/16 refractors, on which it performs very well. It is NOT designed for fast reflectors or "shorty" refractors, and does not work well on these instruments.)
Am asking $25.00 for this one, which includes priority postage and insurance to your USA address.
